Kolopetinitsa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cassius Byrne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thymios Antoniadis during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Kolopetinitsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thymios Antoniadis to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Panos Tsabis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Panagiotis Kaliasis might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Panagiotis Kaliasis ran back to his position shaking his head. Güralp Uğurtan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Kolopetinitsa's Güralp Uğurtan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Güralp Uğurtan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kolopetinitsa getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Nial Peyton hit a great ball. Kolopetinitsa's Güralp Uğurtan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Güralp Uğurtan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nial Peyton in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Güralp Uğurtan had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Cassius Byrne's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Güralp Uğurtan came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Cassius Byrne. But to his dismay, Cassius Byrne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Tsabis in the 63rd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Güralp Uğurtan managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when USA's Cassius Byrne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. In the 67th minute USA were awarded a corner. Monty Rogers went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Panos Tsabis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kolopetinitsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Panos Tsabis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sam Campbell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Güralp Uğurtan having to make a save. Panos Tsabis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Kolopetinitsa's Güralp Uğurtan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalid Parry in the 78th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Güralp Uğurtan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Campbell. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sam Campbell in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Güralp Uğurtan saved Kolopetinitsa from getting behind. Güralp Uğurtan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 92nd minute. Sam Campbell kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. USA's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
