After 11 played minutes Pan Queso y Leberbush FC got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Maropoulos. Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's Rafael Fix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Fix was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dimitris Maropoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Rafael Fix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 20th minute of play. Dimitris Maropoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 28 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. Dante Lacasa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alex Palleschi. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Cornelio Cesaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Fix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's Alex Palleschi got a free kick in the 38th minute. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Donato Izel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa skillfully saved the ball. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rafael Fix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Gaona hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to Pan Queso y Leberbush FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Federico Izel hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rafael Fix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dimitris Maropoulos was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Fix made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Maropoulos's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Fix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Fix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute of play. Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's Rafael Fix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Pan Queso y Leberbush FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Fix saved Pan Queso y Leberbush FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 81st minute of play forced Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's goalkeeper Rafael Fix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's Rafael Fix managed to reach the ball for a save. Abelardo Urdin tried in the game's 85th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Rafael Fix. An annoying self made goal, 0-4. Rafael Fix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 88th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Mexico's Luca Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rafael Fix. Rafael Fix yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The Pan Queso y Leberbush FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
