Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Elano Reis made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Elano Reis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Reis United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but João Paulo Urbano made a huge save. After 9 minutes, Hermínio Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Reis United and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, S.C. Reis United's Hermínio Reis got a free kick in the 9th minute. S.C. Reis United's Natanael Maranhense got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute of the game Paulo Renato Trevisan made a throw-in which Clóvis Nunes played forward. When Henrique Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the S.C. Reis United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Trigo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elano Reis in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led S.C. Reis United's Elano Reis to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Natanael Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Paulo Urbano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. 37 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of S.C. Reis United's João Paulo Urbano. João Paulo Urbano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Hermínio Reis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of S.C. Reis United booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeu Negri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elano Reis. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Elano Reis sent off a good shot on target. João Paulo Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Lautaro Navarro stood somewhat misplaced when Elano Reis came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 68 minute. Hermínio Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Trancoso in the 73rd minute of play. Moises Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 89th minute of play forced S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper João Paulo Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Amadeu Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Amadeu Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the game, Enio Matorin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C. Reis United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. In the 94th match minute, S.C. Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Matorin to maneuver through the defense. The S.C. Reis United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
