Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Florian Capasso started the match with the kick off. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 5th minute of the match. Florian Capasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Florian Capasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15thth minute of the game Cassius Byrne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauro-Facundo Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 26th minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Florian Capasso got a free kick in the 28th minute. Diego Bradley kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Florian Capasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Capasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Capasso in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Capasso came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcinho Sabóia's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcinho Sabóia helped the player get up and apologised. Marcinho Sabóia hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Edward Mcdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Merusca F&P - CIMZ's zone, Edward Mcdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro-Facundo Buffon came out of the goal and Edward Mcdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 60th minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro-Facundo Buffon having to interfere. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some careless play in the USA defense, Hélder Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. In the 88th minute, Fábio Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Sam Campbell made a precise shot to the right of Mauro-Facundo Buffon. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. When the final whistle sounded USA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Merusca F&P - CIMZ.
