With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Florian Capasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florian Capasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Florian Capasso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Florian Capasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Capasso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 15th playminute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Capixaba in the 22nd minute of the match. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Merusca F&P - CIMZ getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Fábio Trevisan hit a great ball. Mauro-Facundo Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fábio Trevisan, made in the 36th minute of the game. 41 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Luz Tejedor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luz Tejedor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro-Facundo Buffon saved Merusca F&P - CIMZ from getting behind. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Merusca F&P - CIMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Moises Gayoso made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon managed to reach the ball for a save. Mauro-Facundo Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Fábio Trevisan in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. With his leg Mauro-Facundo Buffon managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Fonseca in the 72nd minute of the match. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Hélder Fonseca. But to his dismay, Hélder Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro-Facundo Buffon having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Hélder Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. 89 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mauro-Facundo Buffon, 4-1. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Tenorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes of play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Hélder Fonseca made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Merusca F&P - CIMZ.
