Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Endri Kamil. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri Simonot in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Stoners's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yann Sommer came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Edward Jaktorowo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Endri Kamil in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yann Sommer. FC Stoners's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 27th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yann Sommer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play. Mieszko Skoroda hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Endri Kamil made the kick off in the second half. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yann Sommer was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yann Sommer having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Endri Kamil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Yann Sommer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, FC Stoners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endri Kamil to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, FC Stoners's Youri Simonot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. FC Stoners made a substitution. Waldemar Petka replaced Endri Kamil. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yann Sommer having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youri Simonot in the 75th minute of play. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Mieszko Skoroda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A nice corner shot did that Juan Sebastián Puig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yann Sommer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 82nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Ecuador's Cristian Sancho getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Yann Sommer however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Petka in the 90th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Stoners's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yann Sommer came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waldemar Petka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
