Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Reis to maneuver through the defense. Luís Paulo de Barros came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Relyn Futebol Clube's Luís Paulo de Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Félix to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Paulo de Barros came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo de Barros having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Davi Couto, made in the 40th minute of the game. Relyn Futebol Clube's Luís Paulo de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 41st minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Luís Paulo de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Relyn Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Abraham Knol made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Luís Paulo de Barros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 57th minute, Patricio Costa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luís Paulo de Barros, passed just outside the right post. Joshua Secada who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Luís Paulo de Barros's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Joshua Secada was beeing forced to shoot. Luís Paulo de Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Luís Paulo de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caetano Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. With his leg Luís Paulo de Barros managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 72 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Luís Paulo de Barros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 78th minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Luís Paulo de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Paulo de Barros made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Munhoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela played a much better game than Relyn Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Relyn Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
