In the 60th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Venezuela booed when El Millo de Haedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Aureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Hernán Crespo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. When the referee ended the match the El Millo de Haedo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
