Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Chile's Mariano Lacasa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Fernando Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Manzanedo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Mané Lara sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. 15 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mané Lara. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané Lara in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Mané Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mané Lara's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Chile's Jose Manzanedo got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Lara came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Jose Manzanedo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fernando Vale, made in the 35th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Didi Cardozo made a great header on Joinville United - FSCMZ's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. Guilherme Joinvilense made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Jose Manzanedo. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jose Manzanedo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Mané Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Mané Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mané Lara was the one to do the kick off. Mané Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Borys Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mané Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Pedro Indiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Joinville United - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Maurício Donatello sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. After a rather tough play, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Karel Otto got a free kick in the 96th minute. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Borys Gruchacz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Borys Gruchacz made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. The Joinville United - FSCMZ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
