Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panagiotis Kaliasis in the 4th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Güralp Uğurtan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 13 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Güralp Uğurtan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Güralp Uğurtan in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nial Peyton in the 17th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nial Peyton in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nial Peyton in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Güralp Uğurtan made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Güralp Uğurtan made a huge save. A collision led to Kolopetinitsa getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Panos Tsabis hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Nial Peyton sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The supporters of Kolopetinitsa booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Kolopetinitsa's Panagiotis Kaliasis. But to his dismay, Panagiotis Kaliasis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nial Peyton was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nial Peyton, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Nial Peyton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kolopetinitsa were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Panagiotis Kaliasis took the corner. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Panos Tsabis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 60 minute of play. Kolopetinitsa's Dimitris Botinos was substituted for Roberto-Carlos Carlos. Kolopetinitsa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Panagiotis Kaliasis in the 69th minute. Panos Tsabiss short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Güralp Uğurtan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kolopetinitsa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Kolopetinitsa's Güralp Uğurtan managed to reach the ball for a save. 76 minutes into the match, Nial Peyton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-5. 79 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Güralp Uğurtan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Nial Peyton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. The Kolopetinitsa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
