A collision led to Teddy Team getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Felice Centofanti hit a great ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flavio Gargano kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 21 played minutes Teddy Team got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Pocobello. Amos Iovine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Teddy Team's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Amos Iovine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Pocobello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amos Iovine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After 51 played minutes Teddy Team got a freekick which was hit by Federico Canzano. 54 minutes into the match, Teddy Team's Bruno Pocobello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teddy Team the free kick. Bruno Pocobello took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Amos Iovine skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ettore Colelli's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ettore Colelli helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Teddy Team! Teddy Team:s Amos Iovine showed great skill when he stopped Tomas Illescas:s penalty. Amos Iovine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Patricio Costa took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Amos Iovine to make any attempt to save it. Teddy Team's Fedele Alessandrini was substituted for Emanuele Festuccia. After a rather tough play, Teddy Team's Emanuele Festuccia got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 96th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th match minute, Teddy Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonello Spitaleri to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Venezuela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
