Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fagondo Vasquez kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fagondo Vasquez in the 4th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fagondo Vasquez came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Fagondo Vasquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. BRASIL.Sp's supporters rose to their feet, but Fagondo Vasquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Fagondo Vasquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BRASIL.Sp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 12th minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, BRASIL.Sp's Fagondo Vasquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Luís Guilherme Marques in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Luís Guilherme Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fagondo Vasquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Guilherme Marques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Luís Guilherme Marques came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 61st minute. Eusébio Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 67th minute, Eusébio Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute Fagondo Vasquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fagondo Vasquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Durval Campidelis, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Rossi got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Almir Matos. BRASIL.Sp's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
