Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wiliam Perez got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play forced Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Charles de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho got in the 7th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Charles de Brito handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Charles de Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Capixaba's Cauan Botelho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. In the 18th minute Wiliam Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Sá in the 22nd minute of play. Atlético Capixaba were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Shi Tian Kuan took the corner. Shi Tian Kuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles de Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Cauan Botelho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. Charles de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play. Charles de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of the match. Alessandro Araújo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Atlético Capixaba's Fu Jun Feng was substituted for Shi Tian Kuan. In the 48th minute, Alessandro Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Araújo in the 53rd minute of play. After 56 played minutes Atlético Capixaba got a freekick which was hit by Fu Jun Feng. In the 58th minute, Wiliam Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Atlético Capixaba's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Charles de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Capixaba's Otto Fesik was substituted for Wiliam Perez. Charles de Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Otto Fesik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Atlético Capixaba were awarded a corner. Faustão Sá went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Faustão Sá got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 74 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. After 74 played minutes, Atlético Capixaba's Faustão Sá shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Capixaba reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otto Fesik in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Otto Fesik took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Botelho in the 89th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cauan Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Fesik in the 97th minute of play. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Atlético Capixaba were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
