Orfilio Orbañanos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuan Zhen Lin in the 21st minute. U. de Tarapacá's Yuan Zhen Lin got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Balboa. U. de Tarapacá's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Ariel Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orfilio Orbañanos in the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Orfilio Orbañanos managed to get in a good position for a shot. U. de Tarapacá's supporters rose to their feet, but Orfilio Orbañanos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. U. de Tarapacá's Kim Heers was substituted for Yuan Zhen Lin. U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 70th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orfilio Orbañanos in the 73rd minute of the match. If Orfilio Orbañanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. U. de Tarapacá's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
