In the 8th minute, Olof Söderkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Weyna in the 10th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tanek Weyna was slow to take the kick. During this time DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's players had a chance to rest. In the 15th minute DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 were awarded a corner. Tanek Weyna went to the cornerflag to take it. Antonio Indiano tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Pedro Manzanares. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leandro Macario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leandro Macario. Axel Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Leandro Macario when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Söderkvist came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felippe Favoretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Leandro Macario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Leandro Macario was a little too slow when Axel Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-2. Axel Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joshua Garrido made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Leandro Macario managed to reach the ball for a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. The corner went over the outstretched arms of DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's goalie and right to Pascual Carballar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Leandro Macario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Indiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Leandro Macario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 60th minute of play. Joshua Garrido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leandro Macario having to make a save. After some careless play in the DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 defense, Santino Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Macario. The DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Macario should have stopped the shot. DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Leandro Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 69th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Felippe Favoretto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felippe Favoretto really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. Cristian Chivu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felippe Favoretto had several of the Colombia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-4 score and a disappointed Pedro Manzanares as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 83rd minute, Cristian Chivu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Colombia's Pascual Carballar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Victor Eliu in the 92 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Gonzalo Benet in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Santino Seco. Leandro Macario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 96th minute of play. The DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
