When Rodney Emmanuel fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haiti's protests and gave Rodney Emmanuel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Rodney Emmanuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Haiti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Golden Hills were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ward Doran to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Geoffrey Vasquez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Noel Seide. That made the score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. Noel Seide was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ward Doran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 59 minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Golden Hills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandy Hollandsworth to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Ward Doran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
