Arturo Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 minutes of play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yiğitcan İstanbullu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yiğitcan İstanbullu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yiğitcan İstanbullu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yiğitcan İstanbullu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 18th minute of the match. Luiz Fabiano Lima took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Renan Lago kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 2-1 in the 29 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Luiz Fabiano Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiano Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jurassic Monsters SA's Yiğitcan İstanbullu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Fabiano Lima struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jurassic Monsters SA. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 44th minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Yiğitcan İstanbullu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 55 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kauan Cunha who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Uruguay's goalie and right to Percy Rocha. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Uruguay's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of Jurassic Monsters SA booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Carvallo made in the 65th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jaime Cazalla however managed to control. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Anderson Carioca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Yiğitcan İstanbullu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 76th minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Yiğitcan İstanbullu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Jurassic Monsters SA's Gilson Paranaense got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Yiğitcan İstanbullu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anderson Carioca during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Anderson Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Jurassic Monsters SA's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yiğitcan İstanbullu came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino Paes hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
