With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederico Barros in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Mariolo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Witold Pietras in the 11th minute. A collision led to Mariolo getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Liudvikas Zaleckas hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eufrasio Vall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Barros in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Mariolo's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Eufrasio Vall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Mariolo's goalkeeper Eufrasio Vall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. In the 23rd minute Witold Pietras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Mariolo got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Witold Pietras was slow to take the kick. During this time Mariolo's players had a chance to rest. Mariolo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Witold Pietras in the 32nd minute. Axel Montenegro got in the 40th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Eufrasio Vall handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 43rd minute of play forced Mariolo's goalkeeper Eufrasio Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Eufrasio Vall threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kevin Mastache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Mariolo's zone, Kevin Mastache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eufrasio Vall came out of the goal and Kevin Mastache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariolo's Frederico Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Frederico Barros made the kick off in the second half. Eufrasio Vall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Carballar in the 55th minute of the match. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Eufrasio Vall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Witold Pietras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Mariolo's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Eufrasio Vall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frederico Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Mariolo were awarded a corner. Witold Pietras went to the cornerflag to take it. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umea Loza, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Mariolo played a much better game than Colombia and deserved their victory. The Colombia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
