Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kolopetinitsa's Theagenis Theodorakoglou. But to his dismay, Theagenis Theodorakoglou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Axel Tasis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Güralp Uğurtan. That made the score 1-1 in the 6 minute of play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panagiotis Kaliasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Giorgos Kouklakis made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nial Peyton went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Nial Peyton put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nial Peyton in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Nial Peyton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Kolopetinitsa's Nial Peyton. But to his dismay, Nial Peyton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Panagiotis Kaliasis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. The supporters of Kolopetinitsa booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nial Peyton took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. Nial Peyton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Panos Tsabis put it in 1-9 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-9 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nial Peyton was the one to do the kick off. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nial Peyton in the 51st minute of play. After 57 minutes Kolopetinitsa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Tasis who took care of the corner kick. Panos Tsabis took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-10. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Nial Peyton took a quick shot and it went in 1-11 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. In the 68th minute Kolopetinitsa were awarded a corner. Panagiotis Kaliasis went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Kolopetinitsa's corner Panagiotis Kaliasis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Sanz quite easily take care of the ball. Nial Peytons short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 73rd minute of the match, Panos Tsabis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Kolopetinitsa's Nial Peyton in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Kolopetinitsa getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Nikos Pantaleon hit a great ball. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Theagenis Theodorakoglou put it in 1-14 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. 93 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Panagiotis Kaliasis came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nial Peyton in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
