Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ward Doran made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes of play, Golden Hills's Geoffrey Vasquez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertie Johnson to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute of the match Santo Sparks sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Barrett skillfully saved the ball. When Bertie Johnson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacao's protests and gave Bertie Johnson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Bertie Johnson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Geoffrey Vasquez took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Ward Doran came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geoffrey Vasquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Ward Doran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Hills's Geoffrey Vasquez. But to his dismay, Geoffrey Vasquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Davies to make the kick off. Bryan Clifford hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Ward Doran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Ward Doran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Ward Doran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Rocco Owen hit a great ball. Bruno Barrett was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Orville Hough capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orville Hough really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 77th minute, Ward Doran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ward Doran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ryan Bellamy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Geoffrey Vasquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Hills fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Golden Hills played a much better game than Curacao and deserved their victory. The Curacao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
