Thanks to some nice moves Armando Santotis could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Heli Monsalve was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Chilcano's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Heli Monsalve almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Sporting Chilcano's Lizardi Montanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 13th minute of play. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lizardi Montanez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Asier Abello. In the 21st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Sporting Chilcano's Heli Monsalve shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lizardi Montanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Sporting Chilcano's Armando Santotis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Lizardi Montanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 52nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Santotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Sporting Chilcano were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Heli Monsalve took the corner. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Santotis in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Sporting Chilcano's goalkeeper Lizardi Montanez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 64th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Santotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the Sporting Chilcano defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lizardi Montanez. The Sporting Chilcano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lizardi Montanez should have stopped the shot. Paul Trielles kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. After 93 played minutes Sporting Chilcano got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Pita. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
