Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Gruchacz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute Mané Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Joinville United - FSCMZ's Prospero Perfecto to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Borys Gruchacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 8th minute of play. Alonso Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Mané Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Mané Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernando Vale made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Lara in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Borys Gruchacz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of play. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mané Lara went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the game, Fernando Vale threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Efraim Gilabert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 39th minute Mané Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Joinville United - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mané Lara to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mané Lara got free with Rolando Noboa in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute of the game Fernando Vale made a throw-in which Didi Cardozo played forward. Borys Gruchacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A collision led to Joinville United - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Fernando Vale hit a great ball. Joinville United - FSCMZ made a substitution. Lennart Khan replaced Didi Cardozo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 74th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Perfecto hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Maurício Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurício Donatello in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Borys Gruchacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Tenorio in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Evgeniy Bakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldo Osmond kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Rafael Gallo took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Borys Gruchacz. Borys Gruchacz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Joinville United - FSCMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
