Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Murillo got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute VBL Stockholm were awarded a corner. Torbjörn Grönlund went to the cornerflag to take it. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 8th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Olov Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. VBL Stockholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Olov Johnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 12th minute of play. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of the match. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes VBL Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Ulrik Josefsson. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Julian Murillo sped through VBL Stockholm's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carl-Chester Vallgren. Jan-Åke Kihlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Luz Tejedor missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 37 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Carl-Chester Vallgren right hand side. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, VBL Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Carl-Chester Vallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Peru fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Peru's Luz Tejedor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Peru were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olov Johnsson made a kick off. A collision led to VBL Stockholm getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Eerik Lilleorg hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Olov Johnsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Algot Markusson made in the 61st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jan-Åke Kihlberg immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Carl-Chester Vallgren in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, VBL Stockholm's Algot Markusson got a free kick in the 64th minute. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 68th minute. Luz Tejedor made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 76th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl-Chester Vallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carl-Chester Vallgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79thth minute of the game Olov Johnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Algot Markusson made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 86 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl-Chester Vallgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseo Mina in the 89th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of VBL Stockholm's goalie and right to Eliseo Alcocer. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. VBL Stockholm's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 91 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl-Chester Vallgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than VBL Stockholm throughout the match.
