Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Přemek Ouředník made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Joshua Secada fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Přemek Ouředník quite easily take care of the ball. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vítek Bittner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radoslav Plašil in the 20th minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Vítek Bittner came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 24 minute. In the 31st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Pardubice Hurricanes's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vítek Bittner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 33rd match minute, Pardubice Hurricanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Štětka to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítek Bittner, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pardubice Hurricanes's goalkeeper Přemek Ouředník, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pardubice Hurricanes's Přemek Ouředník. Přemek Ouředník was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítek Bittner in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vítek Bittner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Pardubice Hurricanes's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Přemek Ouředník came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Anton Rubáš's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Svatomír Krajíček blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 67th minute Anton Rubáš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. In the 74th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Jiří Rychtář notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 86 minutes, Jiří Rychtář made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Jiří Rychtář ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Radoslav Plašil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot.
