The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 高坤源 was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 高坤源 in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robbie Southgate was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 53 minute of play. The supporters of Independente F.C. Limeira booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Limeira's goalkeeper Robbie Southgate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 高坤源 in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Independente F.C. Limeira were the better team. Independente F.C. Limeira's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
