Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) El Salvador's Moises Fernandino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wiktor Pionek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out and tried to block the shot, but Wiktor Pionek slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 2nd minute. 8 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Bykowski came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aleksander Bykowski's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Aleksander Bykowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Aleksander Bykowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedykt Siembab didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aleksander Bykowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gortaty's Aleksander Bykowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Joshua Curbelo got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Sebastian Kasiewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortaty's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Kasiewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franciszek Wicherek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Gortaty getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Benedykt Siembab hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Gortaty's Benedykt Siembab sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Franciszek Wicherek sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleksander Bykowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Benedykt Siembab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gortaty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedykt Siembab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Aleksander Bykowski notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benedykt Siembab charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedykt Siembab the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Benedykt Siembab. In the 60th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. After 64 minutes of play, Gortaty's Aleksander Bykowski made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! With 78 minutes on the clock, Lorenzo Yepes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 79th minute, Lorenzo Yepes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Kasiewski hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Bykowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th play minute Moises Fernandino came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Karol Kopacz. 6-1. El Salvador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
