If Pedro Grandis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Renan Lago with Kauan Cunha as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 14th minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Jurassic Monsters SA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yiğitcan İstanbullu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jurassic Monsters SA's Renan Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a Jurassic Monsters SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jurassic Monsters SA booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Luiz Fabiano Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Luiz Fabiano Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jurassic Monsters SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fabiano Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Jurassic Monsters SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yiğitcan İstanbullu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute Anderson Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Jurassic Monsters SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Sá to maneuver through the defense. Jurassic Monsters SA made a substitution. The Jurassic Monsters SA fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Jurassic Monsters SA's Luiz Fabiano Lima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 88th minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fabiano Lima's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Jurassic Monsters SA were the better team. Jurassic Monsters SA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
