Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Seco took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to GARIBALDI FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Hugo Jacinto hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Ekain in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Ekain in the 10th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lázaro Ekain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute GARIBALDI FC were awarded a corner. Hugo Jacinto went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Gustav Svensson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the GARIBALDI FC defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Llorian. The GARIBALDI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Llorian should have stopped the shot. Uruguay's Camilo Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Ekain came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Llorian having to interfere. Lázaro Ekain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes, Eduard Hourani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GARIBALDI FC and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Uruguay booed when GARIBALDI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Hourani didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Guillermo Ezkerra put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of GARIBALDI FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uruguay:s goal. The referee gave Uruguay a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jaime Cazalla, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GARIBALDI FC's Rene Llorian. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lázaro Ekain was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Rene Llorian in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Ekain in the 55th minute of the match. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Rene Llorian made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, GARIBALDI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Rene Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Carvallo. In the 67th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rene Llorian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 70th minute. A hard shot 78 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Rene Llorian managed to make a qualified save. GARIBALDI FC's players were relieved. GARIBALDI FC made a substitution. Nicolas Eduino replaced Raul Transito. 83 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Ekain came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in GARIBALDI FC's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Llorian came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Ekain scored 2-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The GARIBALDI FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
