Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Walery Balkiewicz made a huge save. 86 minutes into the game, Tancredo Hondaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Academia FC's Walery Balkiewicz got control of the ball when Maximiliano Escribano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walery Balkiewicz made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Maximiliano Escribano sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Academia FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
