When Club Atlético Ramadita's Allan Åström in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the game Mercado Paulista made a throw-in which Luís Paulo Cruz played forward. If Cleto Argider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariano Lacasa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gavino Afonso. That made the score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Allan Åström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on Club Atlético Ramadita's corner Mercado Paulista fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. Gavino Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 55th minute of play. Cleto Argider could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Gavino Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 65th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Francisco Carballar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavino Afonso having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chile had played much better football throughout.
