Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pucará's goalkeeper Lautaro Morales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 3rd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After 11 played minutes, Pucará's Basilio Bertran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pucará reached it. Faustino Sayveon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Morales having to interfere. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Pucará's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Lautaro Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basilio Bertran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepe Sand in the 30th minute of play. Pepe Sand took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pucará's Pepe Sand. But to his dismay, Pepe Sand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepe Sand in the 36th minute of play. Pucará's Lautaro Morales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. Dario Artizar struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pucará. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Dario Artizar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Morales having to interfere. In the 47th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Morales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Pucará's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Pucará's Lautaro Morales managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Lautaro Morales in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 53rd minute. If Tomás Belmonte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Pucará's Timoteo Martxot got a free kick in the 60th minute. Pucará's Benedicto Caitano was substituted for Bernabe Olivar. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dario Artizar charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Artizar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dario Artizar kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
