In the 4th minute, Set Fire's Alberto Bidun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Pedro Brais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Set Fire's Alberto Bidun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Constantin Mustăcilă, made in the 17th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Pedro Brais put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 21 minutes into the match, Alberto Bidun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Bidun's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Alberto Bidun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Venezuela's Jose Correa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Constantin Mustăcilă, made in the 36th minute of the game. In the 38th minute, Kálmán Szigligeti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Olof Uter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 6-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Bidun in the 43rd minute of play. Alberto Bidun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Pedro Brais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Set Fire's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Brais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a Set Fire's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina helped the player get up and apologised. Set Fire's Alberto Bidun got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. A collision led to Set Fire getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Bonifacio Guib hit a great ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Uter in the 55th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Bidun came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Bidun, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Pedro Brais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes, Set Fire's Bonifacio Guib shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Set Fire reached it. The supporters of Set Fire booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Set Fire got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robbie Ridliwan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Alberto Bidun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Set Fire's Alberto Bidun. But to his dismay, Alberto Bidun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 79th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camilo Gaos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9-0 became the score in the 84th minute when Alberto Bidun elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Julio Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Bidun in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Brais in the 94th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Set Fire walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
