Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Linus Fredriksson kicked off to start the match. In the 41st minute Dionisio Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Iglesias hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 1-3 became the score in the 94th minute when Linus Fredriksson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Chants of Marlin FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ecuador had held the ball for most of the match.
