Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. When Facundo Cadaval came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Facundo Cadaval couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Countdown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Er Miner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Er Miner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 13th minute of play. Ernani Valadares's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernani Valadares helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Countdown FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Valadares. Er Miner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Er Miner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, João Vítor Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Countdown FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Vítor Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adriano Cardozo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Er Miner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Countdown FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Er Miner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Er Miner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Lacasa had great luck who in the 43rdth minute grab hold of the ball when João Vítor Barros from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Countdown FC's Er Miner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 47th minute of play. The Countdown FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-1.

With a little luck, Countdown FC's Er Miner got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Countdown FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Mexico's Macos Graciani getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Mexico's Alberto Tafalla in 54 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Er Miner guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. João Vítor Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Er Miner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the match, Countdown FC's goalkeeper Er Miner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Gaona. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Er Miner made a huge save. The corner led Mexico's Facundo Cadaval to fire away a dangerous shot which Er Miner despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Er Miner firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Countdown FC's goalkeeper Er Miner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriano Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
