Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariusz Komornicki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 4th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Basajaun in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Komornicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Andreasson. In the 13th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 15 minutes of play, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Arnaldo Basajaun made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Emmanuel Reyes with Milagros Fraga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winnie Winger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariusz Komornicki. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Alonso Berganza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mariusz Komornicki quite easily take care of the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Peru's Eliseo Mina made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariusz Komornicki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Armağan Yörük made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rodrigo Trigo. Mariusz Komornicki made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariusz Komornicki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Mariusz Komornicki in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Basajaun in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. In the 76th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Komornicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Jorge-Luis Valdivia was substituted for Armağan Yörük. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Henrique Meireles was substituted for Winnie Winger. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Meireles in the 86th minute of play. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Mariusz Komornicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE from getting a goal against them. Milagros Fraga struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Mariusz Komornicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariusz Komornicki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
