The throw-in from Côme Collet in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Panama's Felipe Ros. Mans's Régis Labonne managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Matthew Garrido in the 12 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Erdinç Yalgın in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipe Ros hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Su Xiang Lin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham Alguacil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erdinç Yalgın read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Mans got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Tamargo. Erdinç Yalgın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Tamargo in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, Mans's Erdinç Yalgın got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Su Xiang Lin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Adrien Andreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 53 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erdinç Yalgın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Su Xiang Lin in the 58th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza scored 2-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erdinç Yalgın, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Eusébio Cosme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mans's Eusébio Cosme got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Erdinç Yalgın. Mans's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Tomas Berganza a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Tomas Berganza hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Erdinç Yalgın didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Erdinç Yalgın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Panama fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mans had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
