Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moisés Antass short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 29th minute of the match, Moisés Antas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 32nd match minute, Galway Cowboys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Urdin to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benigno Jerold showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Moisés Antas sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benigno Jerold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruben Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Benigno Jerold. Galway Cowboys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Conor McNamee hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Benigno Jerold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Galway Cowboys's Benigno Jerold proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Galway Cowboys from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Antas in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute of play forced Galway Cowboys's goalkeeper Benigno Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Antas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Moisés Antas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 66th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Galway Cowboys's Benigno Jerold did a great save. In the 71st minute, Tomas Illescas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Antas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Jerold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Benigno Jerold made a huge save. Ruben Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benigno Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Estebe in the 93rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Galway Cowboys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sacha Boey to maneuver through the defense. The Galway Cowboys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Venezuela were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
