If Fredric Hybbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Murilo Barros Rosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alaaddin Solskjær was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandre Paz Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Paz Rocha got free with Alaaddin Solskjær in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Brazil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Heitor Paim Belluci should have stopped the shot. Heitor Paim Belluci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Sundström in the 91st minute of the match. Renato Pedroso Kimuras short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Alaaddin Solskjær to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alaaddin Solskjær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Bueno Lobo in the 94th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
