Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Douglas de Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas de Souza in the 18th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Dionísio in the 22nd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Castro in the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Miguel Miralles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Miralles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomé Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The Panama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Floresta Club U18 were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by Endrik Edmundo. Floresta Club U18's Léo de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match Ruy da Rocha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla skillfully saved the ball. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Léo de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Léo de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Floresta Club U18 made a substitution. Vito Maia replaced Gilmar Castro. 83 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomé Reis. 87 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Maia came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidnei Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Floresta Club U18's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
