Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Fix having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's goalkeeper Rafael Fix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. In the 28th minute, Cornelio Cesaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Fix having to interfere. Jonathan Cordarrol kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Maropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Palleschi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Rouco got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 44 played minutes, Pan Queso y Leberbush FC's Jonathan Cordarrol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pan Queso y Leberbush FC reached it. After the first half Pan Queso y Leberbush FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rafael Fix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Fix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 64th minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mexico! Alex Palleschi walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Cordarrol in the 70th minute. Rafael Fix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 75th minute of the match. A hard shot 78 in the game by Cornelio Cesaro from a close distance when the talented Dante Lacasa managed to make a qualified save. Mexico's players were relieved. Cornelio Cesaro in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Lacasa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
