Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 9th minute, Diego Milito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Diamante U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Maiorga's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Troy Kennedy's late challenge caught a Deportivo Diamante U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Troy Kennedy helped the player get up and apologised. Troy Kennedy kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The Deportivo Diamante U18 fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Deportivo Diamante U18's Diego Milito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18th minute Diego Milito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Deportivo Diamante U18 booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Troy Kennedy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 minutes, Diego Milito made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Curacao's Bruno Barrett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Diego Milito sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. In the 28th minute, Victor Valiente made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Rocco Owen kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Deportivo Diamante U18's Diego Milito in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curacao's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Milito in the 41st minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Milito, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 44 minutes of play, Deportivo Diamante U18's Diego Milito made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laureano Mitxaut might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Barrett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Mitxaut ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Davies to make the kick off. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. In the 56thth minute of the game Diego Milito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But to his dismay, Conrado Maiorga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. 60 minutes into the game, Conrado Maiorga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 64 minutes into the match, Diego Milito notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute of the match, Conrado Maiorga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruno Barrett saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 71st minute, Froilan Montel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bruno Barrett, passed just outside the right post. Bruno Barrett didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Deportivo Diamante U18's Diego Milito shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-13 in the ordered_time% minute. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Diego Milito tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Amador Rafel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Diamante U18's Diego Milito. But to his dismay, Diego Milito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-15. Diego Milito had several of the Curacao's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-16 score and a disappointed Bruno Barrett as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Deportivo Diamante U18 fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Deportivo Diamante U18's Conrado Maiorga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-17 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 93rd minute, Amador Rafel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Milito got free with Bruno Barrett in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
