Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taco Van Der Hoorn in the 11th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasco Goycochea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 14th minute of the match. Vasco Goycochea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Monty Rogers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vasco Goycochea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taco Van Der Hoorn in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ronaldo Cosme was slow to take the kick. During this time ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cassius Byrne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolay Dudevski in the 36th minute of play. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ronaldo Cosme in the 37th minute. The corner led to ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Muhittin Emek getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Vasco Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 43rd minute of play forced ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Vasco Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, one of ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ. Vasco Goycochea had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Cassius Byrne's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Cassius Byrne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Vasco Goycochea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taco Van Der Hoorn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Nikolay Dudevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, USA's Monty Rogers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded USA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ.
