Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of KIRICOCHO FC booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Fontirroig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Errando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Facundo Torres's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 55th minute, but Jorge Errando got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving KIRICOCHO FC hanging dry this time. Caner Parshan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind KIRICOCHO FC's goalkeeper Jorge Errando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Errando narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
