The Flying Hellfish fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kazimierz Wielkopolski should have stopped the shot. Karl Howarth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Flying Hellfish's Kazimierz Wielkopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play. Karl Howarth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Kazimierz Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Flying Hellfish's Kazimierz Wielkopolski. Kazimierz Wielkopolski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute Karl Howarth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kazimierz Wielkopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play forced Flying Hellfish's goalkeeper Kazimierz Wielkopolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flying Hellfish's Daniel Afloroaiei was substituted for Karl Howarth. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Nevada Soto made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. 41 minutes into the game, Luz Tejedor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Kazimierz Wielkopolski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Flying Hellfish getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Everitt Obree hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Flying Hellfish's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Julian Murillo scored to the left of an out of position Kazimierz Wielkopolski, making the score, 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kazimierz Wielkopolski. That made the score 0-6 in the 58 minute of play. Kazimierz Wielkopolski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Wielkopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kazimierz Wielkopolski came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Flying Hellfish's goalkeeper Kazimierz Wielkopolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Afloroaiei in the 79th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Kazimierz Wielkopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Antonio Tenorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Kazimierz Wielkopolski in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Wielkopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Gallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Peru booed when Flying Hellfish was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Zdanowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
