Honorato Lobo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Honorato Lobo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett did a great save. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Arnau in the 23rd minute of play. After 27 minutes, Kyle Davies mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curacao and the Justicialista FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Justicialista FC booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Davies didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Kyle Davies made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorato Lobo in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rocco Owen's late challenge caught a Justicialista FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rocco Owen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Justicialista FC booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocco Owen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harvey Doyle during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Luciano Quinton made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Honorato Lobo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd play minute Aquilino Acosta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bruno Barrett. 0-8. Luciano Quinton succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 96th playminute. Justicialista FC played a much better game than Curacao and deserved their victory. The Curacao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
