Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Charro Revuelta started the match with the kick off. Pang Chuan struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartak de Txurdi. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pang Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spartak de Txurdi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leocadio Castro in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eulalio Majua saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 23 minutes into the match, Spartak de Txurdi's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Eulalio Majua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pang Chuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leocadio Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time Spartak de Txurdi's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Leocadio Castro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eulalio Majua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Eulalio Majua made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Eulalio Majua came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pang Chuan went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The crowd rose to their feet as Pang Chuan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charro Revuelta in the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Charro Revuelta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartak de Txurdi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charro Revuelta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Spartak de Txurdi's Eulalio Majua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Spartak de Txurdi's Doğan Ferikoğlu got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Majua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 played minutes Spartak de Txurdi got a freekick which was hit by Jan Melker. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Eulalio Majua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pang Chuan in the 73rd minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pang Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Charro Revuelta came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Spartak de Txurdi getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Raymond Kalla hit a great ball. Spartak de Txurdi made a substitution. Regis Jaen replaced Nickolas Horemans. Raymond Kalla hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Charro Revuelta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Charro Revuelta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 96th minute. Chants of Spartak de Txurdi echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ecuador had held the ball for most of the match.
