Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Otsando Llantaron made the kick off which started today's match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otsando Llantaron in the 4th minute of play. Otsando Llantaron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Miro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otsando Llantaron might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Otsando Llantaron ran back to his position shaking his head. After 13 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. After 14 played minutes, EAU FC's Ricardo Senio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in EAU FC reached it. After having played for 15 minutes, Otsando Llantaron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EAU FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otsando Llantaron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Baltasar Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by EAU FC's Celedonio Paio. But to his dismay, Celedonio Paio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by EAU FC's Otsando Llantaron. But to his dismay, Otsando Llantaron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otsando Llantaron in the 31st minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otsando Llantaron in the 33rd minute of play. When Baltasar Miro came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the EAU FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Miro couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otsando Llantaron in the 52nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Puig in the 57th minute of play forced EAU FC's goalkeeper Humberto Theobald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otsando Llantaron, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Otsando Llantaron might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Otsando Llantaron ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Celedonio Paio could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otsando Llantaron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 75 minutes, Otsando Llantaron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EAU FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otsando Llantaron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Baltasar Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Celedonio Paio sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Theobald prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Paio. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. EAU FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
