Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Josué Fernandez got the match started through his kick off. Gümüşhane's attentive Ergincan Sarı managed to snatch the ball when Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in in the 8th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Fernandez came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Özdemir Özgenc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Özdemir Özgenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play. Guillermo Mariano made in the 19th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tomas Illescas. In the 20th minute of the game Berke Çetin made a throw-in which Josué Fernandez played forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özdemir Özgenc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gümüşhane were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sabri Oyhan took the corner. The corner ended in Sabri Oyhan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Josué Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gümüşhane. Josué Fernandez might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josué Fernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josué Fernandez. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Özdemir Özgenc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Sabri Oyhan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berke Çetin made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Josué Fernandez. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Özdemir Özgenc having to make a save. Baybars Yılmaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. After 61st play minutes Josué Fernandez shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 66 minutes, Josué Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gümüşhane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gümüşhane's Özdemir Özgenc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Gümüşhane from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Fernandez in the 73rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Fernandez in the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Gümüşhane getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Berke Çetin hit a great ball. In the 85th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Josué Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. When Berke Çetin fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gümüşhane's protests and gave Berke Çetin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Gümüşhane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berke Çetin to maneuver through the defense. Gümüşhane's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
