Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Chile's Mariano Lacasa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as İbrahim Volkan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thiago Pliego. That made the score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Esmeraldas S.C.'s Ghitã Fratea got a free kick in the 7th minute. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Maftei in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Maftei got free with Thiago Pliego in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Maftei, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aguinaga Nebot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aguinaga Nebot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 17th minute of the match. Yan Zhou Xuan hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 31st minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Maftei came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, İbrahim Volkan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esmeraldas S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 47th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aguinaga Nebot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Maftei to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by İbrahim Volkan in the 51st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Maftei in the 73rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Maftei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 89th minute Stefanos Terzopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esmeraldas S.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chile for a fine match.
