In the 3rd minute Universitario Pincharrata were awarded a corner. Sebastian Villa went to the cornerflag to take it. Sebastian Villa made a great header on Universitario Pincharrata's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Ryan West came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Ariando in the 43rd minute. When Ryan West came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Universitario Pincharrata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryan West couldn't finish the play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benito Ariando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Javier Frederik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Universitario Pincharrata's Fedot Khokhlov was substituted for Sebastian Villa. Joshua Secada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Javier Frederik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Ariando came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match Universitario Pincharrata got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastiaan Verón ran over to the corner to take the kick. Universitario Pincharrata's Sebastiaan Verón was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Ariando in the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Benito Ariando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Universitario Pincharrata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Ariando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Universitario Pincharrata's Javier Frederik. Javier Frederik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Frederik having to interfere. Namık Kemal Baytüze kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match.
